For the past few weeks I have been busy in my studio creating (what feels like) a mountain of custom fairy wings.. getting things together for a doll making class.. and 'trying' to spring clean my website.... all alongside everyday life!
Things had gotten quite bust that I have had little time to myself to create.. and.. its been a tad bit frustrating..
But there is always light at the end of the tunnel! With all the custom orders send out and on their ways home, I have had a couple of days to finish off some dolls and pendants, work on my mini dragon base and start on my Fairy godmother art doll!!
Meet Dak and Barklin, these two little Pixies have bee sitting in my studio wait to be finished for some time now.. I am thinking that Dak might be a little upset at me for taking so long?
I bought some new little (and not so little) pendant cases a few weeks back. Something a little different and yet not so.. MUSHROOMS!!!!!!!!
For one (or maybe two?) of my miniature Fairy Dragons. I just finished it off late last night. Now I just have to get down to sculpting the fairy dragons!
Sept Show for the IADR is Fairy Tales and I'm thinking of making a Fairy godmother.
Not the typical Fairy godmother we see in fairy tales that is atypical of Fairies and preoccupied with the fortune of their human protegee.
I want to make a Fairy godmother who does not follow the 'kind, gentle and loving' look that we are all used to seeing. I want something a bit more stern, forbidding in appearance.....
